RafQuickQuote — Privacy Policy

RafQuickQuote ("the app") is an offline import-pricing calculator. We respect your privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what the app handles and why.

1. Information stored on your device only

The following never leaves your device and is not sent to us: the prices, pieces-per-carton, CBM, exchange/freight rates, saved product history, notes, and any photos you capture of supplier tags. This data lives only in the app's local storage on your phone or iPad. Tag photo text recognition (OCR) runs entirely on-device.

2. Information used for the app lock (PIN)

To protect access, the app uses a PIN provided by the store owner. To validate the PIN and limit use to one authorized device, the app sends the following to our secure backend (Google Firebase):

• The entered PIN, used only to verify access (stored on the server only as a salted cryptographic hash, never in plain text).
• A randomly generated device identifier, plus the device name and model, used solely to bind the PIN to a single device and let the owner see which device is registered.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. We do not use analytics or tracking, and we show no ads.

3. How the information is used

Solely to operate the access lock: verify the PIN, enforce single-device licensing, and allow the owner to enable, disable, change, or release access. It is never sold or shared for marketing.

4. Data processor

PIN validation and device registration are handled by Google Firebase (Cloud Functions and Firestore) on the owner's project. See Google's privacy terms at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

5. Data retention & deletion

The device registration and PIN hash remain until the store owner deletes or releases them from the admin panel. Locally stored pricing data is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

6. Children

The app is a business tool and is not directed at children.
